The Workplan proposes one
change to the 20 April 2004 Work Plan Addendum-April 2004, approved conditionally by my letter of
6 May 2004. The Workplan states there is a short 4-hour window for the drilling and installation of the dual
completion(nested) groundwater monitoring well, as required by the McDonald's access agreement.
AGE proposes collecting soil core samples at 5-foot intervals, instead of the previously approved continuous
soil coring.
I concur to the Workplan change from continuous coring to collecting soil core samples at 5-foot intervals. It
is my understanding from a phone conversation on 2 November 2004 with AGE that drilling is tentatively
scheduled for 30 November 2004. Please provide a report of the monitoring well installation in the next
monitoring report; and apply for required permit(s) from San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (SJCEHD). You may contact me at (916)464-4615 with your questions or comments.
James L.
