We agree to your 30-day <br /> request to submit the FRP, and your 60-day request to complete installation and startup of the remediation <br /> system. Therefore, the FRP must be submitted on or before 31 August 2000, and the remediation system must be <br /> implemented and continuously operated by 1 November 2000. Please be advised, that should you fail to meet <br /> these extension dates, any fines will be based on the original dates listed in C&A Order No. 5-00-700. <br /> Order#6 in C&A Order No. 5-00-700 required implementation of a workplan to further investigate the extent and <br /> nature of contamination at the site, and monthly groundwater sampling to identify site constituents and develop <br /> groundwater trends. With the submittal of the Problem Assessment Report in Jure 2000, Order#6 has been <br /> completed, and a record of groundwater analyses has been developed. Therefore, the requirement for monthly <br /> groundwater sampling is suspended. Future quarterly monitoring events must be completed in August, <br /> November,February, and May, and quarterly progress reports submitted by the 15'"day of the month following <br /> the end of the calendar quarter(October, January, April, and July). <br /> If you have any questions or comments,please call Marty Hartzell at(916) 255-3115. <br /> Y .
