The above-
referenced C &A order directed that a Final Remediation Plan (FRP)be submitted no later than 31
July 2000 for the cleanup of the soil and ground water at the site; the C & A order also directed that
a CRWQCB-CVR-approved remediation system be implemented no later than 01 September 2000.
At the request of Mr. Richard Bokides of the Bokides Family Limited Partnership, Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc. Based on the new data collected during the ground water pump tests, AGE is
requesting a 30-day extension for the FRP to sufficiently interpret and report the pump test data and
for proper design of a ground water extraction and treatment remediation system.
On 11 July 2000, AGE submitted a letter of request to the California Department of Water Resources
(DWR) for encroachment and surface discharge into DWR Canal No. DPC-79; the canal is located
approximately 450 feet south of the Flag City Chevron site. According to Mr. Ron Boeck of the
DWR, a surface water discharge permit into DWR Canal No. DPC-79 is feasible, however will take
4(NK North Wilson \\';n. Stockion.
