• 28 April 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 00-0232 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> 2 3 GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Grab ground water samples will be collected from each probe boring using a Geoprobe water <br /> sampling assembly Samples will be collected into 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials as <br /> appropriate for the required analyses Ground water sample collection procedures are presented in <br /> Section 3 3 Ground water samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for <br /> • TPH-g by EPA Method 82608, <br /> • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method 8260B, <br /> • MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, methanol and ethanol by EPA Method 8260B <br /> The laboratory report for the ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality <br /> assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be <br /> presented in a report with the findings and recommendations <br /> . 2 4 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, the results of the <br /> investlgatson will be included in the forthcoming PAR <br /> 3 0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Registered Geologist Procedures for the advancement of borings, soil sampling, ground water <br /> sampling, equipment decontamination and sample shipment are given below <br /> 3 1 PROBE BORING ADVANCEMENT <br /> Probe borings will be advanced using a van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push probing unit <br /> equipped with 1 25-inch probing rods The Geoprobe advances soil probe borings using a hydraulic <br /> hammer to drive soil sampling tools to specified depths <br /> 3 2 HAND AUGER BORING ADVANCEMENT <br /> • Hand auger bonngs will be advanced directly below each dispenser after removal of the dispenser <br /> Advanced GeoErnironmental,Inc <br />
