FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT Section 11400 <br /> minimum. <br /> a. Top frame: 1% inch by I%inch by 1/8" inch stainless steel angle with <br /> cross-braces not over 24 inches apart;with all joints welded. <br /> 2. Base: Where body set on base, close bottom edge beyond overhang. <br /> 3. Stiles and Mullions: Rabbeted to suit doors and any resultant joints. <br /> J. TOPS: One-piece welded construction, 14 gauge stainless steel reinforced on the <br /> underside with 14 gauge stainless steel hat sections welded in place so tops will support a <br /> minimum of 200 pounds per square foot without deflection. <br /> 1. Cutting Board Tops: %or 1-inch thick hard nonporous material accepted by <br /> N.S.F., John Boos Co., Michigan Maple Block Co., or accepted equal. <br /> K. DOORS: <br /> 1. Refrigerated Doors: Flush type, 16 gauge stainless steel welded construction. <br /> Exterior corners of doors to be square. <br /> a. Interior Pan: 16 gauge stainless steel to receive exterior pan to form a 2" <br /> insulated door. <br /> b. Exterior Pan: Secured to interior pan by plug welding at top, bottom and <br /> sides, ground smooth and polished to match metal finish, or to be plastic <br /> faced. <br /> C. Door Edges: Chamfered and fitted to adjacent panel or door with <br /> "hairline"crack. Insulation to be 2" rigid fiberglass or 2" Styrofoam. <br /> 2. Non-Refrigerated Doors: Flush type, as specified for Refrigerated Doors, without <br /> insulation, provided with sound deadening material sprayed on interior of front <br /> and rear panels. <br /> 3. Sliding Doors: Construct similar to other doors specified in this Section; mount on <br /> by Knape-Vogt Mfg. Co., No. 875 overhead track, or accepted equal, with 2 nylon <br /> rollers per door. <br /> a. Stainless Steel Bottom Guides: Provide concealed neoprene stops in <br /> each end stile or mullion. <br /> b. Flush Pulls: Locate so they are accessible when doors are either in open <br /> or closed position. <br /> 4. Louvered Doors: Construct as shown. Grille and door to be stainless steel. <br /> L. DRAIN PLATES: Non-splash type, 20 ga. stainless steel with sides turned down 1 inch <br /> and hemmed, with a 1 inch finger hole for easy removal. <br /> M. DRAWERS: 18 or 16 ga. stainless steel as shown, with rounded corners. <br /> 1. Guides: 14 ga. stainless steel heavy duty, full extension telescoping channels <br /> with heavy duty stainless steel ball bearing rollers with molded nylon tires. <br /> Valentine M.
