Our Comments are <br /> attached for your review. Please be advised however that all <br /> comments regarding the pond closure have been withheld until we <br /> have coordinated closure requirements with the Department ' s <br /> permitting unit, the Regional Water Quality Control Board, and <br /> the Environmental Protection Agency. <br /> An additional comment regarding information not addressed in the <br /> subject document is in reference to Dr. Lynn Goldman' s June 8, <br /> 1987 report. Dr. Goldman' s June data package which was <br /> transmitted to you by our letter of June 25, 1987 indicated the <br /> presence of off-site soil contamination adjacent to your <br /> facility. Please submit a workplan for characterizing the <br /> offsite contamination within 30 days. <br /> State law requires that all sites being mitigated by our <br /> Superfund program have a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) .
