MARLEY COOLING TOWER COMPANY <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA FACILITY <br /> RESPONSE TO <br /> NPDES PERMIT REVIEW COMMENTS <br /> Item 1 <br /> Required forms have been submitted in previous correspondence to the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board and the USEPA. Application <br /> fees are enclosed with this submittal. <br /> Item 2 <br /> Revision 1. No comment. <br /> Revision 2. We acknowledge that the permit will be written to allow for <br /> discharge at first stage capacity rather than ultimate plant capacity. <br /> Revision 3A. We acknowledge that current State regulations require that <br /> the effluent limit for total chromium be set at 0.05 mg/l. We reserve <br /> the right to reapply for higher total chromium limits if State regulations <br /> are amended. <br /> Revision 3B. We acknowledge that current State regulations require that <br /> effluent pH be between 6.5 and 8.5. We reserve the right to reapply for <br /> wider pH effluent limits if State regulations are amended. <br /> Revision 3C. No comment. <br /> Revision 4. We look forward to receiving your comments on Revision 4 in <br /> the near future. <br />
