Therefore, the following <br /> detection limits will be used. <br /> Contaminant Detection Limit <br /> Arsenic 10.0 ug/1 <br /> Chromium, Total 50.0 ug/l <br /> Chromium VI 11.0 ug/1 <br /> Copper 6.5 ug/1 <br /> Note that zinc effluent limits have not been specified by the NPDES <br /> permit because zinc has not been used as a wood treating chemical. Thus, <br /> the detection limit for zinc will be based upon the analytical method and <br /> equipment used in the laboratory. <br /> 6.0 QUALITY CONTROL AND QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> Several quality assurance procedures will be performed before, during, <br /> and after sample collection and analysis. <br /> 6.1 Preventative Maintenance <br /> The laboratory is responsible for preventative maintenance of <br /> analytical equipment as recommended in Section 4.3.2.1 of the Current Work <br /> Plan. <br /> 6.2 Data Validation <br /> Data validation will be performed by the sampling contractor. Black & <br /> Veatch will review the data validation after submittal of sampling <br /> contractor's report as discussed in Section 8.3. <br /> All field logbooks, laboratory scheduling, and analytical records <br /> related to the sampling will be the responsibility of the sampling <br /> contractor as described in Section 4.3.4 of the Current Work Plan. <br /> 5 <br />
