The <br /> report is unsigned by a licensed professional engineer <br /> (registered civil engineer) or a geologist who indicates <br /> responsibility for content. This is required by California State <br /> law - Business and Professions Code (Professional Engineers Act, <br /> Section 6735 Geologist and Geophysicists Act, Section 7835) . <br /> Reports signed by civil engineers must be stamped with their seal <br /> which notes expiration date of the license. Geologists must <br /> indicate their license number in conjunction to signature. <br /> Because of these laws, reports submitted to DHS must adhere to <br /> their legal requirements. <br /> Your cooperation in providing a properly licensed signature for <br /> this submittal is necessary before implementation of our formal <br /> review process .
