The laboratory is not running a five-point <br /> curve using motor oil. Instead, the laboratory is using an alkane standard containing carbon 8 to carbon 40. The <br /> laboratory is certified by the State of California for 8015B but is just now contacting the State of California Environmental <br /> Laboratory Accreditation Department to find out if this modification of the method is acceptable. I have requested the <br /> curve and associated QC. If you would like to review the data, please send me your fax number.
