The third composite location was <br /> aligned with the front door of the residence at 32 Carroll Avenue (approximately 347 feet from <br /> Marley's South Yard fence). <br /> The two soil samples were collected directly into clean 3 ounce glass jars. No tools or <br /> sampling apparatus were used to collect the samples. Clean rubber ;loves were worn while <br /> collecting each sample. The two sample jars were sealed, labeled, and recorded on a chain-of- <br /> custody form. <br /> ANALYTICAL RESULTS <br /> The two samples were delivered under chain-of-custody procedures to California Analytical <br /> Laboratory/Enseco in West Sacramento. The two samples were analyzed for total arsenic and <br /> chromium on a 24 to 43 hour rush turnaround schedule. <br /> Sample 61141 had arsenic reposed at 5.2 mg/Kg and chromium reported at 45.6 mg/Kg. <br /> Sample 61142 had arsenic reported at 5.3 mg/Kg and chromium reported at 49.4 mg/Kg. The <br /> chain-of-custodv form and laboratory data sheets are attached. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> Kleinfelder performed this work in accordance with generally accepted standards of care which <br /> exists in Northern California at this time. Sample locations were specified by Mr. Willis of <br /> B&V and Mr. Jim Austreng. Results of this investigation are based on the analytical results <br /> provided by California Analyticai Laboratory/Enesco. More extensive studies, including <br /> subsurface investigations. may be performed to reduce uncertainties. If the client wishes to <br /> continue this investigation, Kleinfelder should be notified for additional consultation.
