111A-1 . GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK. The work to be performed under these Contract Documents consists of the construction of full-scale soil flushing system located in the wood treating area of the Marley Cooling Tower Company' s Stockton, California facility. The project is divided into three Divisions as follows: Division 131 - Construction of Wells, Monitoring Tubes, and Lysimeters. Division 132 - General Construction. Division 133 - Electrical . The Contractor under each Division shall plan, schedule, and coordinate his operations in a manner which will facilitate the simultaneous progress of the Work under other Divisions. It is anticipated that Division 131 must be started prior to the concurrent completion of construction within Divisions 132 and 133. Supplementing the requirements of the specifications relative to the scope of any specified type of construction, the scope of the contracts shall be as follows: IA-1 .01 Division 131 - Construction of Wells Monitorino Tubes and Lvsimeters. Division 131 shall include the following principal items of Work: All work in Section 2A pertaining to construction of injection wells, extraction wells, monitoring tubes, and lysimeter nests. Work in Section 2D pertaining to decontamination. 1A-1 .02 Division 132 - General Construction. Division 132 shall include the following principal items of Work: Work in Section 2A pertaining to manhole covers. Work in Section 2B pertaining to below grade injection supply and extraction force main piping. Work in Section 2C pertaining to pavement repair. Work in Section 3A pertaining to concrete for pump pads and guard posts. Work in Section 11A pertaining to horizontal end suction centrifugal pumps. All work in Sections 15A, 156, and 15C.
