Valves shall be reduced port, Neles-Jamesbury Series 5000 or approved <br /> equal . <br /> 15C-5. CHECK VALVES. Check valves shall be designed for liquid service <br /> non-pulsating flow. Check valve shall be bronze or brass construction, <br /> full port, swing check with Teflon or Viton seal and meet ANSI 125-150 <br /> class rating. Valve shall not be spring-loaded, and must be piped in the <br /> proper orientation for correct service. <br /> 15C-6. SOLENOID VALVE. Solenoid valve shall have a bronze body and <br /> bonnet and packless construction without packing box or sliding seal . <br /> The normally closed solenoid valve shall be ASCO No. 8211682 or approved <br /> equal . <br /> Solenoid coil for AC service shall be 120 volt AC, 60 Hz, encapsulated, <br /> Class F, for continuous duty at rated voltage plus or minus 10 percent <br /> and 40 C ambient, in a NEMA Type 4 enclosure. <br /> 15C-7. FLUID SWITCH. A fluid switch shall be installed above ground in <br /> the influent pump (IP-1) 3" suction piping. The fluid switch shall <br /> prevent the pumping unit from operating when there is no water in the <br /> pump suction line. The fluid switch shall be of 316 stainless steel <br /> construction, TFE Teflon sensor sheath, integrally mounted electronics <br /> housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure. The fluid switch shall be as manufactured <br /> by Delta Controls Corp. , Type 633 or approved equal . <br /> 15C-8. FLOW METERS. Flow meter assemblies shall be installed in the <br /> locations indicated on the drawings. Corrosion-resistant materials shall <br /> be used throughout the mechanical enclosure. The Contractor shall <br /> relocate FM-1 and appurtenant one inch piping from the pilot system and <br /> reinstall as FM 13-01 during full-scale construction. The Contractor <br /> shall relocate FM-3 from MW-206 and reinstall for service as FM 13-12. <br /> FM 13-21 and FM 13-23 shall be two inch, propeller type Ametek McCrometer <br /> flow meters to be provided by Owner. <br /> FM 13-02, 03, 04, and 05 shall be one inch, rotor type in-line flow <br /> meters (Hersey MVR 30). Flow meters shall perform with an accuracy of <br /> 0.50 percent in a flow range of 6-30 gallons per minute. The maximum <br /> pressure drop shall not exceed 7 psi at a flow rate of 30 gallons per <br /> minute. <br /> FM 13-13 shall be a one inch magnetic type flow meter (Sparling <br /> Instrument Company, Model # FM 621-OF-1-5-0-0-0) . FM 13-13 shall be an <br /> in-line flow meter with integrated rate/totalizer and 4-20 mA output. <br /> FM 13-22 shall be a two inch, rotor type in-line flow meter (Hersey MVR <br /> 160). Flow meter shall perform with an accuracy of 0.50 percent in a <br /> flow range of 60-160 gallons per minute.
