BALL VALVES. Valves for sample taps shall be of bronze or brass <br /> construction with end entry body, bronze or brass ball , teflon or Viton <br /> stem seal , reinforced teflon seats and thrust washer, and threaded ends. <br /> Valves shall be rated not less than 400 psi at 100°F and shall be <br /> driptight in both directions. <br /> Manual gear operated ball valves for pump throttling service shall be of <br /> bronze or brass construction with end entry body, Type 300 series <br /> stainless steel ball , teflon or viton stem seal , reinforced teflon seats <br /> and thrust washer, hand wheel operated, and flanged ends. Valves shall <br /> be rated not less than 400 psi at 100° F and shall be driptight in both <br /> directions.
