Result in the loss of availability of a locally-important mineral resource recovery site delineated on a local general <br /> plan, specific plan or other land use plan. <br /> Impact Analysis: No impact is anticipated. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> ❑ Potentially Significant Impact <br /> ❑ Potentially Significant Unless Mitigated <br /> ❑ Less Than Significant Impact <br /> ® No Impact <br /> References Used: <br /> Description of Baseline Environmental Conditions: Typical noise emanates from residences and the high school area. <br /> The Stockton Municipal Code, Chapter 16, Development Code, Section 16-340.030 A, Table 3-7 provides that the Hourly <br /> Equivalent Sound Level from land uses shall not exceed 65 decibels (dB) during daytime or nighttime hours as measured <br /> at the property line of the receiving residential land use.When determining the effectiveness of noise mitigation measures, <br /> the standards shall be applied on the receiving side of noise barriers or other property line noise mitigation measures. <br /> Analysis as to whether or not project activities would: <br /> a. Expose persons to or generate noise levels in excess of standards established in the local general plan or noise <br /> ordinance, or applicable standards of other agencies. <br /> Impact Analysis: Noise levels established for the area by the municipal code shall not be exceeded during the project. <br /> Drilling will create a temporary disturbance to those located around the area. Elevated noise levels are expected <br /> during the process of drilling to the desired first injection depth. Once at the desired injection depth, the drill rigs will <br /> either be tumed off or remain idling to provide auxiliary power for equipment, and the overall noise level will decrease. <br /> Once the desired solution volume is injected, the drill rigs will start drilling to the next injection interval and then either <br /> shut down during additional injection activities or idle to supply auxiliary power. It is anticipated that each rig will be <br /> idling or turned off for approximately 50% of a typical 10 hour drilling work day. Drill rigs will be turned off or idled <br /> whenever possible to reduce overall noise. Drill rigs and other equipment will be aligned whenever possible to reduce <br /> noise to sensitive receptors (residents and school occupants). MWH is evaluating temporary noise barriers or noise <br /> fences to be placed immediately around the work site, when applicable. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> ❑ Potentially Significant impact <br /> ❑ Potentially Significant Unless Mitigated <br /> ® Less Than Significant Impact <br /> ❑ No Impact <br /> b.
