The boring will be placed in the southern end of the <br /> former used-oil tank pit as shown of Figure 1, The soil boring will be drilled and <br /> sampled according to the methods outlined in the April 12, 1994 work plan to a <br /> depth of 25 feet BGS. Samples collected from this borehole will be analyzed for <br /> volatile organic compounds by EPA method 8240, and California Assessment Metals <br /> (CAM) soluble threshold limit concentration (STLC) by EPA method 6010/7000 <br /> series. <br /> Two borings (the boring north of MW-1 and the boring on the eastern edge of the former gasoline <br /> UST pit) will be drilled in the same location designated in the April 12, 1994 work plan. Permits have <br /> been submitted to SJCPHS-EHD for the installation of four soil borings as described in the April 12, <br /> 1994 work plan. With this addendum, the scope of work has been expanded to include a total of six <br /> soil borings. Therefore, this letter serves as an addendum to the previously submitted permit <br /> application as well as the previously submitted work plan.
