i 1 <br /> ARCO Products Company � 2 <br /> ARCO Service Station#4493,205 North Center St.,Stockton,CA August 24, 1998 <br /> Q Analysis of water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons calculated as gasoline <br /> (TPH-g), benzene, toluene, ethyl-benzene, xylenes (BTEX compounds), and methyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether (MtBE). <br /> • Preparation of this letter report. <br /> Findings <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from each of the two observation wells. Samples <br /> were analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX, and MtBE by EIA Method 8020/8015 (modified). A <br /> single detection of MtBE was reported in Well OW-2 at a concentration of <br /> 52.4 micrograms per liter. All other analytes were reported non-detectable. Measured <br /> depths to water in Wells OW-1 and OW-2 were 10.50 and 10.55 feet below ground <br /> surface, respectively. <br /> Analytical data are presented in Table 1 and observation well locations are shown on <br /> Figure 1. Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment A.
