Installation of two dual-completion wells for investigation of the lateral and vertical extent of the contaminant plume <br /> down-gradient of the site. <br /> 2. Each well will have one casing set at approximately 53 feet bek w surface grade with five feet of screen and one <br /> casing set at approximately 35 feet below surface grade with fif teen feet of screen. <br /> 3. Per the July 5,2002 original work plan submitted by URS,the oils encountered during the drilling of the borings for <br /> the wells willbe logged using the Unified Soil Classification System. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. A San Joaquin County Well Permit Application and a City of S ockton Revocable permit have been received. <br /> Installation of the wells has been tentatively scheduled to begin on November 4,2002. <br /> 2. Soil samples should be collected at intervals sufficient to characterize the aquifer lithology in the screened intervals. <br /> 3.
