The
EHD agrees with and approves this recommendation.
In correspondence dated January 24, 2007 the E H D notified you that Regional Water
Quality Control Board representatives informed the EHD that they do not consider this site
a candidate for regulatory closure due to the fiuctua`ting and increasing concentrations of
petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants reported in groundwater samples collected from
wells MW-4, MW-8M and MW-8D. The EHD recommended that the responsible parties
consider conducting interim remediation of these wells. In the interest of moving this site
towards regulatory closure, the EHD reiterates this recommendation.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
CC"---"—
Lori
C---"—
Lori Duncan, REHS MargaretLagorio, REHS
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist Program Coordinator
c: James Barton, CVRWQCB, 11020 Sun Center Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
Brian Westhoff, SECOR, 3017 Kilgore Rd.
