Stockton Fire Department will retain the right to require additional posting of fire lanes as they see fit once a <br /> final inspection is conducted. <br /> 4. On-Site Water Supply —The site will have additional fire hydrants installed (see SFD Permit 15-098). Fire <br /> hydrants shall be installed as per COS Standards. All on-site fire hydrants shall be visible and accessible <br /> and remain unobstructed from any material storage. <br /> 5. Blue Fire Hydrant Reflectors — Placement of blue fire hydrant reflectors is required at each fire hydrant. <br /> Location of blue reflectors shall be center of fire lane. <br /> 6. Fire Box Requirements — As indicated in the Fire Prevention Plan, fire boxes shall be equipped with fire <br /> protection equipment that is capable of being used by on-site employees. A training exercise shall be <br /> conducted periodically by management staff. See Fire Prevention Plan for description of equipment that is <br /> required to be stored on site. <br /> 7. Firefighting Foam Cache—Storage of 5-gallon buckets of Alcohol Resistive(AR) Foam shall be supplied on <br /> site at each Fire Box location/each fire hydrant as specified in the Fire Prevention Plan for the facility. See <br /> Fire Prevention Plan for quantities of AR Foam storage. <br /> 8. Tire Storage Piles —Tire storage piles are approved as per the site plan on file. Maximum storage height <br /> shall not exceed 12 feet in height. Piles shall be no greater than 50 feet in width and 100 feet in length. The <br /> Stockton Fire Department has already determined that the approved site plan reflecting the pile storage <br /> arrangement is acceptable with fire boxes and firefighting foam on site. Any variation to the acceptable <br /> plan shall be discussed with the Fire Marshal. <br /> 9. Indoor Operations — At this point, the indoor operations have yet to be reviewed by the Stockton Fire <br /> Department. The applicant I tenant will be required to submit proper building permits for the installation of <br /> any tire shredding and processing equipment. At that time, the Stockton Fire Department will reserve the <br /> right to impose additional fire requirements as they see need for pending review of the interior equipment <br /> modifications. <br /> 10. Additional Building and Fire Permits Required—The following permits shall be required: <br /> • Fire Permit for the Installation of Underground Fire Line Extension for New On-Site Fire Hydrants (See <br /> SFD-15-098) <br /> • Building Permit for the Installation of Tire Shredding and Processing Equipment <br /> • Operational Fire Permit for the Storage of Rubber Tires <br /> • NOTE: Additional operational fire permits may be required for other permitted uses that will be <br /> subjected upon time the business opens. <br /> Final Fire Department Inspection Required —to verify that requirements for fire protection facilities have been met, <br /> and actual construction of all fire protection equipment has been completed in accordance with the approved plan. <br /> Should you have any questions contact the Stockton Fire Prevention Division at(209)937-8271. <br /> 0 Fuge 2 <br />
