The samples from <br /> all three tanks show evidence of gasoline contamination. The sample from the west and of rani: <br /> number three (See attached analvsis) was the most contaminated After samples were taken the <br /> excavations were backfilled to finish grade. <br /> Under Work Plan 1 for- the site. a hollow stem auger soil boring (PBI t was placed in the general FWZX area of Tank a1 and Tank 42 m a depth of thim' feet on April 28.1998. Samples were taken at <br /> depths of 8'. 14'. 25' and 30 all were anal zed for BTEX. TPH& and MTBE. All samples were contaminated with high levels of gasoline (see Recap of Chemical Analysis attached1. A hollow stem auger soil boring was also placed in the area of Tank ; to a depth of fifty fceL Samples were �1 <br /> extracted m five four intervals and all were anal zed for BTEX. TPHg, and MTBE. .Al l samples <br /> were found to be contaminated with gasoline.
