In
Section 4.2 the MW5 well.screen interval is described as 30 to 45 feet below ground surface. That
would be if it was measured vertically. Please refer to Figure 5.
Should we send you a revised work plan today or tomorrow?
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [maiito:vmccartney@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, October 06, 2009 10:33 AM
To: Bill Cook
Subject: Work Plan for Raymond Investment Corporation
Good morning, Bill.
have reviewed Additional Vapor and Groundwater Monitoring Well Work Plan, dated August 4, 2009,for
the Raymond Investment Corporation located at 730 East Channel Street, Stockton. There are a number
of inconsistencies in the report that I need to have clarified. In section 3.0 of the narrative it states that
MW-5 will have a screen length of 35 to 50 feet from the surface and MW-6, MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, and
MW-10 will have a screen depth of 30 to 40 feet bsg. However, in section 4.2 of the work plan, the
screened intervals have been changed for these wells. The screened interval for MW-5 has been changed
to 30 -45 feet bsg, and the screened intervals for MW-6 through MW-10 have been changed to 30-45
feet bsg. Table 1 indicates that total depths are less than the proposed screened intervals. I am confused
and need clarification concerning the proposed screened intervals for these wells. Please respond at your
earliest convenience.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
Fax: (209)468-3433
Email: vniccartneyz ceh.d coin
10/8/2009
