BIO NATIONAL CORPORATION
1 WORK PLAN
ON SITE BIOREMEDIATION OF NON-HAZARDOUS SOIL MATERIAL ON SITE
Thorpe Project
1649 E. Channel St.
Stockton, CA
1,1 SITE DESCRIPTION
1.2 TYPE OF CONTAKWATION
12.1 Tank Removal and Surface Soil Contamination Removed
Tank removal and non-hazardous soil removal to on site surface
containment was performed under San Joaquin County Permit.
1.3 PROPOSED TREATMENT SUMMARY
Sufficient isolated land area is available to create a plastic lined bermed or
diked area around the total approximately 3,000 cubic yards of material to
be treated on site.
As the material is transferred, Bio National will install its remediation
system, including perforated leach lines at the bottom of the material
The system will include a blot eactor tank, with pumped recirculation for
aeration and inoculation delivery pressure.
The leach lines will be attached to a vacuum source to maintain a negative
air pressure on the material as it is bioremediated
A measured amount of fluids will be introduced, with microbes and
nutrients through this system, while maintaining proper aeration and
control of potential volatiles escaping from the system.
The treatment process will continue until the contamination is below action
level, and the soil may be returned to the site as landfill.
1 THOR901
