(Cambria).
SJC/EHD has noted Cambria's recommendation to reduce the fuel oxygenate analysis
for water samples, other than methyl tertiary butyl ether, from quarterly to annually. Due
to the detections of tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA)that have been reported at various
quarters in several of the sites monitoring wells, SJC/EHD does not agree with this
recommendation. Furthermore, as has been discussed with the Regional Water Quality
Control Board, Central Valley Region (CBRWQCB), in the normal course of analysis for
constituents of concern all peaks identified by EPA Method 8260B should be reported to
SJC/EHD and the CVRWQCB.
If you have any questions or comments please call Lori Duncan at (209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Le,
Mar ar La orio, Sing REHS
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS 9 9
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV
cc: Marty Hartzell, CVRWQCB
Joe Neely, Cambria
