Charter Way
Stockton, CA
This correspondence will serve as confirmation to the telephone
conversation of this date with Groundwater Technology. John Bower
of Groundwater Technology has indicated that a status report is
being prepared for your review and should be arriving in our
offices in the latter part of July, 1990. Mr. Bower also indicated
that there was some difficulty in acquiring off-site encroachment
permits with the facility at 378 W. Charter Way.
In addition to the off-site location, a well to the west of the
facility on Lincoln Street on the public right-of-way between the
Chevron station and the Texaco station will be drilled in the next
phase of investigation.
Therefore, excluding any extraordinary delays, a Problem Assessment
Report (PAR) should be submitted to Public Health Service,
Environmental Health Division and the Central Valley Regional Water
Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) by September 24, 1990. The PAR
should provide information on the extent of contamination and a
proposal for remediation of the soil and groundwater.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free
to contact Diane Hinson, Supervising REHS, at (209) 468-3420.
Jogi Khan , M.D. , M.P.H.
Health f cer
c
aurie A. otulla, REHS, Program Manager
Environmental Health Division
LAC/DH:nr
c: RWQCB - Tom Peltier
c: Groundwater Technology, Inc. - John Bower
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services 0
