Mr. Dave Heinrich
December 4 , 1989
202/150-4150
Page 2
August, 1989. Presently, the TRMI legal department is dealing
directly with the respective property owners to come to agreement
on the wording within the license agreements. Upon the receipt of
signed license agreements from the individual property owners, GTI
will proceed with the installation of the groundwater monitoring
wells. A brief description of the property owners and the status
of the license agreements in their possession are as follows:
Tune-up Masters (TUP) is located adjacent to the east and
downgradient of the Texaco site. MW-9, MW-10, and MW-12 are
proposed on the TUP property. A revised license agreement from
TUP was received by GTI in September, 1989, and was forwarded
to the TRMI legal department. A pending sale is possible on
the TUP property and therefore a hold has been placed on the
approval of the license agreement.
San Francisco Baking Company (SFBC) is located directly south
of the Texaco site and MW-11 has been proposed on their
property. TRMI legal department has been communicating with
SFBC, and resolved differences about the wording in the
license agreement. TRMI is presently awaiting the return of
a signed license agreement from SFBC.
Econo-rent property is east of the Texaco site and MW-13 is
located on their property. GTI has never received a response
from the property owner to whom a license agreement wast
mailed. GTI has decided io to postpone the installation of
MW-13 , pending the resul of the monitoring wells to be
installed on the TUP property.
ARCO is holding a lease on the property on which the proposed
MW-8 is located. It is a dirt lot north of the site, and
across Charter Way. The land owner of this property is
willing to grant permission for the installation of the
monitoring well, but suggested that permission also be
acquired from ARCO, pending the terms of the lease agreement.
GTI has been attempting to contact a representative from ARCO
to discuss the matter of a groundwater monitoring well
installation.
Upon the receipt of signed license agreements from the individual
property owners, GTI will proceed with the installation of the
respective groundwater monitoring wells. GTI is presently permit-
ting for the installation of the on site wells and the wells
located on City property.
GROUNDWATER
TECILNOLOGY,INC.
