(Applied <br /> GeoSystems) is submitting this work plan to conduct a soil investigation and a vapor- <br /> extraction test (VET) at ARCO Service Station No. 2168 in Stockton, California. The <br /> purpose of this investigation is to assess soil for possible gasoline hydrocarbons before the <br /> removal of underground gasoline-storage tanks and install three vapor-extraction wells. This <br /> investigation is not in response to a known or suspected release of gasoline product. This <br /> work plan describes our procedures and methods associated with this investigation. <br /> The work will be performed in accordance with the Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites <br /> .. (California Regional Water Quality Control Board,Central Valley Region, 1989);Appendix <br /> A to that document (August 1990); and the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manual <br /> (California Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Task Force, 1989).
