Soil cuttings will be removed by Chevron's disposal contractor to an <br /> appropriate disposal facility.Water generated during steam cleaning, and sampling <br /> of the borings will be temporarily stored in DOT-approved 55-gallon drums pending <br /> transport by Chevron's disposal contractor to an appropriate disposal or treatment <br /> facility. <br /> Groundwater Sampling <br /> The newly installed groundwater monitoring wells will be developed and sampled a <br /> minimum of 48-hours following installation. Groundwater samples collected from the <br /> monitoring well network(existing wells and newly installed wells)and submitted to a <br /> State of California certified laboratory under chain-of-custody documentation and <br /> analyzed for the following constituents: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons in the gasoline range[fPH-G (C6-C10)], total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons in the diesel range [rPH-D(C10-C28)], and total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons in the motor oil range [rPH-MO(C16-C36)] by United <br /> States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA)Method 8015 <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes(BTEX) by USEPA Method <br /> 82608 <br /> • Tertiary butyl alcohol(TBA), methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE), ethyl tertiary <br /> butyl alcohol(ETBE),tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME), and 1,2-dichloroethane <br /> (1,2-DCA), by USEPA Method 8260B <br /> Reporting <br /> A report will be prepared to document the site assessment activities performed.This <br /> report will include the following: <br /> • Summary of site conditions and background information <br /> • a scaled site plan illustrating the groundwater monitoring well locations and <br /> other relevant site features <br /> Page: <br /> GTNII MND 37111 wMmv 4/5 <br />
