The respective work plans were approved by the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) in a letter dated October 30, 2014. The
proposed work includes:
• Installation of 18 groundwater monitoring wells via sonic drilling.
• Destruction of 17 wells via hollow stem auger rig.
• Advancement of 4 soil borings, 2 via direct push and 2 via hand auger.
All wells to be destroyed, with the exception of six wells, will be destroyed via over-drill method.
Wells AMW-10, CMW-2, SMW-5, SMW-6, SMW-13, and SMW-17 are recommended to be pressure
grouted. Wells AMW-10, SMW-5, SMW-6, SMW-13, and SMW-17 are recommended to be pressure
grouted, as current groundwater analytical data shows no COC impacts at these locations. See
attached groundwater tables. Well CMW-2 is recommended to be pressure grouted due to drill rig
accessibility issues. See attached photograph.
Please see attached key information extracted from work plans.
Attachment:
Copies Doc Date Pages Description
1 10/30/14 2 CVRWQCB Work Plan Addendum Approval Letter
1 7/30/14 4 Extracted scope of work details from Data Gap Assessment
Deftn with commuMfy in mind
