(Stantec) submits this Progress Report for ongoing remedial system installation activities at <br /> Chevron Facility#92033 of the Stockton Charter Way Commingled Plume Site. <br /> Activities Completed During October 2012 <br /> • Worked with the City of Stockton through September and October 2012 to check the status <br /> of the building permit review and to address comments. The building permit package, <br /> including design drawings, had been submitted to the City of Stockton on August 30, 2012 <br /> • Submitted the second part of the air sparge (AS) and soil vapor extraction (SVE) equipment <br /> procurement package on October 1, 2012 <br /> • Cleared fifteen (15) boreholes to a depth of eight feet via air-knife prior to drilling activities <br /> • Advanced fifteen (15) boreholes, installed five (5) vapor extraction wells (VE-2 through <br /> VE-6), and installed ten (10)AS wells (AS-3 through AS-12) <br /> Activities Completed During November 2012 <br /> • The City of Stockton issued the system installation building permit on November 9, 2012 <br /> • San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) issued Authority to Construct <br /> N-1122947 on November 13, 2012 for the soil vapor extraction system <br /> • Initiated construction activities on November 19, 2012 <br /> • Mobilized equipment and materials and completed private utility survey <br /> • Saw-cut trench routes to be excavated for underground piping (approx. 350 linear feet) <br /> • Demolished existing trash enclosure and removed debris <br /> • Removed asphalt and concrete paving at trenches and compound area (approx. 120 linear <br /> feet) <br /> • Initiated trench excavation for underground piping (approx. 120 linear feet) <br />
