December 8, 1997 • • Page 4 • Search of Utility and Well Locations. PACIFIC will conduct a search of underground utility locations which may influence the transport of contaminants. Additionally, PACIFIC will conduct a search of well records for all groundwater wells within 1/2 -mile of the site if not previously conducted. Soil Cuttings, Well Debris, and Rinse Water. Soil cuttings generated during the destruction process will be properly disposed of at an appropriate landfill by an approved Chevron contractor within 30 days of generation. The cuttings will be stored on plastic sheeting onsite until removed. Rinse water that may be generated from the washing of augers will be stored in 55 -gallon DOT drums onsite and removal and recycled by an approved Chevron contractor. The drums will be removed within 30 days of generation. Report. A report will be prepared after completion of necessary field work. The report will include soil boring field notes, soil boring location map, soil and groundwater analytical results, chain -of - custody documentation, findings, copies of all applicable permits, cross section diagrams depicting impacted areas, and a map of all , water supply wells within a 1/2 -mile radius of the site. , 11y..t Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment A. SCHEDULE PACIFIC is prepared to initiate field work within 2 weeks following approval of this work plan and issuance of permits by the City of Stockton Public Works Department and the San Joaquin County Public Health Services. A report documenting the findings of the soil boring and groundwater monitoring well installation, lithological information, mass flux transects, historical and utility reviews. and aerial photo review is anticipated to be submitted approximately 8 to 12 weeks after the commencement of field work and upon completion soil analysis. 920-124.1 A/W KPLAN
