One
550-gallon UST was discovered and removed from the site in 1996. A site investigation
began late the same year.
The site is currently out of compliance with regulatory directives for failure to submit a
work plan to define the vertical extent of the contamination, a feasibility study of remedial
options to address the groundwater contamination and for failing to continue routine
quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling. Enclosed is a chronology listing the
responsible party's history of recalcitrance in responding to regulatory directives.
SJC/EHD is referring this site to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
for oversight as the lead regulatory agency as we discussed with you on May 16, 2007.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS MargagorioREHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Program Coordinator, Unit IV
cc: Don Rodgers, 11900 S.
