(Cambria) on your behalf for the above-referenced site. The work
plan proposes the advancement of one cone penetration testing (CPT) boring (CPT-18) and paired
direct-push boring, located up-gradient of.the source areas to assess soil lithology and stratigraphy
and collect soil and groundwater samples, for chemical analysis; and installation of thirteen
groundwater monitoring wells to further assess the groundwater plume.
Cambria proposes installing one shallow monitoring well, MW-11, with a 15-foot screen interval
placed five feet above, and ten feet below the depth of first-encountered groundwater. This well
will be located north of West Charter Way at the south side of McDonald's Restaurant, and
approximately 125 feet down-gradient of MW-9 and onsite underground storage tanks(USTs).
Cambria proposes installing six monitoring wells with a five-foot screen interval placed
approximately 45 to 50 feet below ground surface (bgs)at the following locations:
• MW-12-50 would be installed onsite, approximately 15 feet south of MW-7;
• MW-13=50 would be installed at the northern premises of Best Western Motel,
approximately 60 feet east of MW-7;
• MW-14-50 would be installed in the parking lot of Best Western Motel, approximately 60
feet east;southeast of MW-5;
• MW-15-50 would be installed north of West Charter Way at the southwest corner of Delta
Market,approximately 35 feet southeast of MW-10;
• MW-16-50 would be installed onsite, approximately 20 feet east, southeast of MW-8,-
a MW-17-50 would be installed at the site of the former USTs, approximately 10 feet
southeast of MW-2.
Cambria proposes installing six monitoring wells with five- to ten-foot screen`intervals placed
approximately 65 to 77 feet bgs at the following locations:
I
i
