v r/
19 December 2000
AGE-NC Project No. 97-0326
• The San Joaquin County Public Health Service-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)
was contacted to identify and locate potential receptors within a 2,000-foot radius of the site.
The PHS-EHD provided information regarding monitoring wells adjacent to the property
(see Table 1).
• Representatives of AGE performed an area reconnaissance for visible potential receptors
within a 2,000-foot radius of the above referenced site. A representative number of
residences and commercial establishments were queried regarding their water source,
including a residence on 1642 South California Street which may still have a domestic well
(no one answered the door).AGE representatives did not locate anywell receptor sites within
the 2,000-foot radius. However, ground water monitoring wells were found(see Figure 1 and
Table 1); these wells were presumably in use for local ground water investigation.
Documentation describing the construction details of water wells are presented in Appendix A.AGE
does not know if abandoned water wells within the 2,000-foot radius of the subject property were
properly destroyed in accordance with present standards, nor does AGE know if additional
abandoned wells are present.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at(209)467-1006.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc.
0 ,
Calvin F. Lee
Project Geologist
cc: Mr. Nick Bokides
Advanced GeoEnvironmental.Inc.
