SAN ) O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> — COUNTY <br /> 9 . All tank top openings that are connected to the primary space of the UST must have secondary <br /> containment , audible/visual alarm , and be vapor tight or terminate at grade . <br /> 10 . Sumps and under dispenser containment must be constructed in a manner to prevent vapors from <br /> entering the backfill . <br /> 11 . All secondary containment must be constructed to prevent water intrusion . <br /> 12 . The secondary containment system must be continuously monitored as required under HSC <br /> 25290 . 1 <br /> 13 . An accurate and drawn to scale as-built drawing (s) , which indicates the location of the UST system <br /> (underground storage tanks , piping , auxiliary and monitoring equipment) with respect to buildings or <br /> other landmarks , per CCR 2711 (a) (8) , and copies of any required installation checklists (tank <br /> installation , etc.) must be submitted to the EHD prior to scheduling a final inspection . <br /> 14 . Submit a. copy of analytical results within 30 days of UDC removal : only results that come directly <br /> from a third party California certified laboratory with affixed chain of custody will be accepted by <br /> EHD <br /> 15 . Log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS ) and verify that the information <br /> submitted on the tank information pages contains the most current information . <br /> 16 . A "Certification of Installation/Modification" form for installed tank systems shall be submitted into <br /> CERS by the owner or the owner' s agent, pursuant to CCR 2635 (d) , before this UST installation will <br /> be considered complete by the EHD . <br /> 17 . Hazardous material or waste cannot be released , intentionally or unintentionally , to the <br /> sewer/septic , storm water system , or any other waters of the state . If a release occurs it will be <br /> considered illegal hazardous waste disposal and will be subject to enforcement . <br /> 18 . Within 30 days of each shipment of hazardous waste , all pertinent hazardous waste disposal <br /> documentation (rinsate and all residual product disposal) must be submitted to the EHD <br /> 19 . All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as required by <br /> the organization (UL , ULC , ANSI , API , ASTM , etc . ) . See California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title <br /> 23 , Chapter 16 , Table B for a complete list. <br /> 20 . Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval .
