No.:9201-EO81.RPT <br />J;=lyzz <br />FEB 1 1 1992 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />This report presents results of soil sampling performed by Earth Systems <br />Environmental, Inc. (ESE) of the base of the excavation pit where a 5,000 gallon <br />underground leaded gasoline storage tank, a 5,000 gallon underground unleaded <br />gasoline storage tank, a 2,000 gallon underground premium unleaded gasoline <br />storage tank, a 500 gallon underground waste oil tank, a dispenser island, and <br />associated product pipelines were removed on December 27, 1991 from the Morita <br />Brothers Service Station site located at 314 East Charter Way in the city of Stockton, <br />California. Figure 1 is a vicinity map showing the location of the site and Figure 2 is <br />a site map showing the location of the former storage tanks, dispenser island, and the <br />soil samples. <br />2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br />2.1 Site <br />The site is located at 314 East Charter Way in the city of Stockton in San Joaquin <br />County, California. The site was formerly operated as a gasoline service station. <br />2.2 Backsround <br />Morita Brothers contracted with Crisp Construction Company of Visalia, <br />California to remove the underground fuel storage tanks, dispenser island and <br />F associated product pipelines at the site. On December 27, 1991, Crisp Construction <br />excavated the soil above and around the tanks, and removed the tanks, dispensers, <br />
