s
Ir
f
Morita Brothers Service Station 4 January 23, 1992
~r .
three dispensers at a concentration of 50 mg/kg. Benzene was detected in this sample
at 1.2 mg/kg, and total lead was detected in this sample at 84 mg/kg. TPH as gasoline
and the volatile aromatics were not detected at or above the minimum detection level
in samples PS -2, and PC -3. TPH as gasoline as detected in sample TK -1S at a depth of 12
feet beneath the south end of the 5,000 gallon leaded gasoline tank at a concentration
of 21 mg/kg, but not beneath the north end of the tank in sample TK -1N. Lead was
detected at 6.4 mg/kg and 3.4 mg/kg in these samples respectively. EDB was not
detected in these or any of the other seven samples analyzed for the presence of EDB.
TPH as gasoline was detected at 2,250 mg/kg, and 980 mg/kg in samples TK -2S and TK -
2N at a depth of 12 feet from beneath the south and north ends of the former 5,000
gallon unleaded gasoline tank, respectively. Benzene was detected in these samples
at 5.905 mg/kg and 1.665 mg/kg, respectively. TPH as gasoline was detected in sample
TK -3N at a depth of 12 feet beneath the north end of the 2,000 gallon premium
unleaded gasoline tank at a concentration of 80 mg/kg, but was not detected in
sample TK -3S from beneath the south end of the tank. No volatile aromatics were
detected in these samples. TPH as gasoline and diesel as well as the volatile aromatics,
EDB, and PCBs were not detected in sample TK -4 from beneath the 500 gallon waste oil
tank. However, TPH as oil and grease was detected at 40 mg/kg, and lead was detected
at 25 mg/kg in this sample. None of the other CAM Title 22 metals were detected
above apparent background concentrations. B C Laboratories made an error and did
not retain enough sample to analyze this sample for the presence of halogenated
i
hydrocarbons using USEPA Test Method 8010. TPH as gasoline was detected in samples
SPE -1, SPE -2, and SPW from the stockpiled soil at concentrations of 8 mg/kg, 32
mg/kg, and 120 mg/kg, respectively. Lead was detected in these samples at 27 mg/kg,
24 mg/kg, and 15 mg/kg, respectively.
EB -8101-1 9201-E081.RPT
