This case does not meet all of the required criteria of the Policy. A summary <br /> evaluation of compliance with the Policy is shown in Attachment 1 : Compliance with State <br /> Water Board Policies and State Law. Previous Recommendations are included in Attachment 3: Previous <br /> Recommendations. Highlights of the case follow: <br /> This case is a commercial warehouse. An unauthorized release was reported in September 1988 <br /> following the removal of two gasoline USTs. An unknown volume of impacted soil was excavated <br /> to a depth 19 feet in November 1988 . Soil vapor extraction and air sparging were conducted <br /> between 2000 and 2005 , which reportedly removed 450 pounds of total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as gasoline (TPHg) . Dual phase extraction started in October 2009 and presently ongoing , <br /> removed 4, 528 pounds of TPHg and 4 million gallons of contaminated groundwater. The rate of <br /> extraction in June 2013 was approximately 3 pounds of TPHg per day. According to groundwater <br /> data, water quality objectives have not been achieved . <br /> The petroleum release is limited to the soil and shallow groundwater. According to data available <br /> in GeoTracker, there are no supply wells regulated by the California Department of Public Health <br /> within 1 , 000 feet of the Site. No surface water bodies have been identified within 1 , 000 feet of the <br /> Site in files reviewed .
