Site and Tank History <br /> One gasoline tank was installed in 1968 and the other gasoline tank was installed in <br /> 1986. The tanks ar.d site were used for commercial activities and not retail sale. <br /> Use of the tanks wa discontinued on July 8, 1988,and the tanks were excavated and <br /> removed on August 25, 1938. <br /> 4. Depth to ground water at the site is estimated to be approximately 15 feet below <br /> ground surface,based on previous work by Meinfelder in this area of Stockton. <br /> The existing excavation will be additionally excavated vertically to the ground water <br /> surface. To assess and remove unsaturated, contaminated soil, the excavation will <br /> be continued laterally approximately 10 feet in the north, east, and west directions.
