J. Hunter& Associates for the Independent Trucking facility at 1145 West Charter Way <br /> in Stockton. The revised work plan is in response to our request for a more detailed work plan <br /> to define the full lateral and vertical extent of soil and ground water contamination at the site. <br /> The revised work plan includes a proposal to conduct a geophysical survey, drill at least 10 soil <br /> borings to ground water, and install at least four additional ground water monitoring wells. The <br /> work plan also states that efforts are being made to obtain access to the property west of the site <br /> for investigation. You may request assistance from the Board if your attempts to obtain access <br /> are unsuccessful. <br /> The work plan is hereby approved. According to the schedule in the work plan, work is to begin <br /> in January 1996, with monitoring wells installed by the end of February. By 12 April 1996, <br /> please submit an investigative report which includes recommendations for further investigation <br /> or remediation. Please provide at least 72 hours notice prior to field activities. As a reminder, <br /> your fourth quarter ground water monitoring report is due by 30 January 1996. <br /> If you have any questions, you may call me at(916) 255-3077. <br /> tELM.
