1♦ M M M MW M M M = = M <br /> In-situ Chemical Oxidation <br /> Gas Station Site — InjectionFoame� Retail <br /> Injection Activities: <br /> - The ozone and hydrogen peroxide infection trailer was installed to operate <br /> at the site 24 hours/day, 7 days/week for 6 months. <br /> The system control panel cycled the injection of ozone/oxygen, air, and <br /> hydrogen peroxide to 10 nested injection wells during the 6 months of <br /> operation. <br />� Results: <br /> - Ozone injection enhanced dissolved oxygen concentrations in groundwater <br /> (up to 25 mg/1 at injection wells and up to 20 mg/l at local observation wells). <br /> - Ozone injection radius-of-influence has been observed up to 25 feet (up to <br /> 15 feet for low flow and high concentration ozone injection). <br /> - Dissolved CO2 measured at nearby observation wells <br /> - Vadose zone headspace measurements indicated elevated levels of CO2, 02, <br /> and 03 at nearby observation wells <br /> - Reduced dissolved contaminant concentrations <br /> -APPLIED PROCESS TECHNOLOGY, INC. <br />
