Former Shell Service Station 1 Page 3 <br /> 1313 East Charter Way March 10, 2011 <br /> Stockton, California 95205 <br /> 04/09/09 Date of Interim Remedial System Shutdown Request and Case Closure Request <br /> submitted by CRA proposing the shutdown of the temporary groundwater <br /> extraction system and recommending io further action and consideration for <br /> case closure. <br /> 06/19/09 Date the interim groundwater extraction system was shutdown, following which <br /> groundwater was collected quarterly from MW-1 to monitor the plume response. <br /> 09/22/09 Date of document submitted by CRA that compared site soil analytical data to <br /> Environmental Screening Levels (ESLs) and California Human Health Screening <br /> Levels (CHHSLs) and evaluated the ne d to collect soil gas samples. CRA also <br /> calculated the remaining total petroleum hydrocarbon as gasoline (TPHg) mass <br /> in soil was approximately 376 pounds; the TPHg mass in groundwater was <br /> approximately 6.2 pounds, and the benzene mass in groundwater was <br /> approximately 0.45 pounds. <br /> 04/12/10 Date the EHD notified the responsible party to submit a comprehensive site <br /> closure summary. <br /> 07/28/10 Date of Case Closure Summary submitted by CRA. <br /> 12/08/10 Date the EHD discussed site closure consideration with the CVRWQCB and <br /> requested that CRA submit an estimate of the time it will take before the <br /> groundwater contaminant concentrations at this site return to water quality goals. <br /> 01/14/11 Date CRA sent an e-mail to the EHD with an appended PDF summarizing the <br /> time predicted for TPHg and benzene concentrations to reach water duality goals <br /> in MW-1, and 1,2-DCA concentrations to reach water quality goals in MW-6. The <br /> e-mail was forwarded to CVRWQCB. <br /> 01/18/11 Date of an e-mail from the CVRWQC13 agreeing with an EHD submittal of a <br /> request for case closure concurrence along with the Chronology and Case <br /> Closure Summary. <br />
