Complaint alleges that the facility is infested with cockroaches. There were baby cockroaches all over the table, <br /> floors, and walls. Complainant stated the cockroach infestation is so bad that they had cockroaches crawling on them so <br /> they left the facility. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Found live roaches inside unused oven. Contact pest control. Facility shall be pest free. Remove all dead <br /> bodies after service. If necessary, increase pest control. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #29 Toxic Substances Properly Identified/Stored/Used <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Using several non commercial pest control sprays. Remove from facility and use only commercial <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All poisonous substances, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning compounds shall be stored separate from food, <br /> utensils,packing material and food-contact surfaces. (114254, 114254.1, 114254.2) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION --TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Cc <br /> NOTES <br /> Spoke to owners who were aware of complaint. They stated that on Wednesday (day before complaint) they closed down the <br /> restaurant and sprayed for roaches. Current pest control by AAI. Last invoice dated 05/16/16. Owners also use non <br /> commercial pest control. <br /> Observations: Inspected dinning, waitress, rest rooms, sushi bar, and kitchen.
