Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The hand washing sink,in the restroom lacks both single service paper towels and liquid hand soap. <br /> Provide both paper towels and liquid hand soap in the restroom. Correct today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br /> maintained in good repair.(113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br /> utensils and equipment.(113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed multiple mice droppings in the cabinet underneath the Pepsi and Coke soda fountain <br /> machines. Clean out the cabinet, wipe up rodent droppings (do not vacuum up), clean and sanitize area today. Remove <br /> existing sticky traps and put down new sticky traps (monitor area for any new activity).Take action to rid the facility of mice. <br /> Use only sticky traps or snap traps. <br /> Facility also has numerous flies throughout. Take action to rid facility of the fly population. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #32 Food Properly Labeled and Honestly Presented <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Facility makes and bags ice on site. Post a sign on the customer freezer door that states: "Ice is made <br /> and bagged on site." Include the name and address of your facility on the sign. Post sign by 1 week. <br /> CAL CODE DESCRIPTION:Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another <br /> food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. Food facilities <br /> with 19 or more chains in the state shall disclose nutritional information. Maintain doors closed to reduce the entrance of vectors (flies, <br /> rodents, etc.). Afly fan may be installed in lieu of keeping the doors closed.
