Empty containers not marked "Empty" and with date it was empty or not managed within 1 year of <br />being emptied. <br />- Dryer Plant: ten white 5 gallon poly containers on metal storage rack <br />- Chemical Building: three 55 gallon poly blue drums <br />- Outdoors by the former waste water treatment system: several 55 gallon metal drums <br />- Outdoor open wooden storage area located NW of property: three 55 gallon poly blue and three 55 <br />gallon poly white drums <br />Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the <br />date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Since it is unknown how long <br />ago they became empty, immediately properly dispose these containers according to Title 22 hazardous <br />waste regulations. <br />605 & 701. Failed to properly label tanks of HW. Stored HW on site >180 days. <br />- A 240 gallon full of used oil is lacking complete hazardous waste labeling ie. the start accumulation <br />date. All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the following information: words "Hazardous <br />Waste" and accumulation start date. Since it is unknown when the first drop of used oil was poured into <br />the used oil tank, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br />manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />- Corrected on site. Received copy of hauler George R. Lowry Inc pick up on 11/16/2011. <br />Requesting spill pallets moved indoors to prevent rain -water accumulation, generating oil -water waste. <br />605 & 701.
