Box 190
Lodi, CA 95241
PROBLEM ASSESSMENT REPORT DUE DATE EXTENSION, (800 E THICHWAY
12,_LODI
Your site consultant, Mr. Dave Ellis of du Pont, informed me by
phone on 12 January 1988 that all1drilling, except monitor well
33P, will commence at 800 East Hi4hway 12 by next week. The
additional drilling should take about one week with well
recovery, sampling and laboratory analyses another four weeks.
DuPont intends to run some short term pump and slug tests to
determine the best location for the bioremediation wells, then
the PAR will be completed and submitted. Based on the above time
table, we agree to your request to extend the PAR due date from
25 January to 14 March: 1988.
Mr. Ellis agreed that, should monitor well 11 continue to show
detectable levels of contamination, an additional well or wells
will be necessary to the north and west of MW 11. Monitor well
33P, in the vineyard, cannot be drilled until dry weather
returns. We recommend 'that 33P be drilled as soon as possible
and the results be included as an- addendum to the PAR when the
irionitor-wellA-has"been-completed-and-samples have7been analyzed."
If you have any questions, please call me at (916) 361-5731.
i
GARY S.
