' '
E_
PEA'
G`braD
P E C /f r1
Quarterly Site Status Report MAY 2 2 1992
Beacon Station 696 - Lodi , California
Page 2 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICE:S
MW-24 and MW-25 were found to contain measurable water during
this quarter.
RESULT OF QUARTERLY MONITORING:
Ground-water samples from MW-34 (southern boundary of the
property) , MW-20 and MW-25 (southeastern portion of the
property) all exhibited non-detectable amounts of benzene.
MW-24 (center of the property) , MW-35 (west boundary of the
property, and MW-36 (eastern boundary of the property all
exhibited single digit parts-per-billion benzene. These data
suggest that hydrocarbon previously detected in ground-water
samples from monitoring wells at the site have been
volatilized and destroyed in the vapor extraction system.
Ground-water potentiometric surface elevation data indicates
that ground-water flow is being influenced by the vapor
extraction equipment
PROPOSED ACTIVITY OR WORK FOR NEXT QUARTER:
ACTIVITY ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE
Perform Second Quarter ground-water
monitoring event June 1992
Remove catalytic unit and apply for permit
to install carbon venting unit May 1992
