LOBSTER SMELLED LIKE <br /> AMMONIA IN BOTH DISHES. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Spoke to the managers of the facility Michael and Jesse about the complaint. Michael recalls a customer calling about the <br /> lobster tasting like ammonia and was concerned. Michael states he checked the lobsters and did not find any problem. He <br /> states they sold about 50 lobster tails on 2/14/19. Michael states that there were no other complaints regarding the lobster <br /> tasting like ammonia. <br /> Lobster is received frozen on Fridays and Thursdays and are stored in the walk in freezer at 5 F.They received 12 in a box <br /> per delivery. The lobster is thawed in the walk in cooler at 40 F.There are 2 in the walk in cooler being thawed today.The <br /> lobster in the walk in cooler appear normal.
