The purpose `of their review was to determine if you are
in compliance with the corrective action orders and directives issued from this agency.
Compliance with corrective action orders and directives is a requirement for reimbursement
of cleanup costs from the Cleanup Fund.
As a result of this review, the SWRCB staff have determined that you are currently not in
compliance with directives from this office because a workplan to investigate the full extent
of the soil and groundwater contamination, requested in letters to you from San Joaquin
County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) dated
September 11, 1991 and January 16, 1992, has not been received by this office.
i
i
For cases such as yours,; the Cleanup Fund is providing responsible parties with an
opportunity to come into compliance and remain eligible for reimbursement through the
Cleanup Fund by allowing PHS/EHD to issue revised directives with an absolute time
schedule for initiating corrective action. You must show that you are taking immediate
positive steps to come into compliance.
l
k
A Division of San Joaquin County Health care Services
i
