8. Upon the arrival of the Fire Department the chain of command will be <br /> handed over from Revchem to the Fire Department who will deal with the <br /> emergency. <br /> 9. NRC Environmental Services (NRC) will coordinate all the emergency <br /> services as needed along with the Fire Department. <br /> Joint Emergency Procedures <br /> Emergency Coordinator Duties: <br /> The Emergency Coordinator will be responsible for initiating actions of the <br /> business to respond to a release or threatened release of a hazardous material. <br /> a) The emergency coordinator will appoint assistants and will make sure <br /> that an assistant emergency coordinator is present during his absence. <br /> b) The Emergency Coordinator or the assistant Emergency Coordinator will <br /> determine if an evacuation is required and will initiate the steps to <br /> evacuate all personnel. <br /> c) Notification: The emergency Coordinator or the assistant emergency <br /> coordinator will notify all the required agencies and will determine if any <br /> of the optional agencies require notification. <br /> d) Emergency Coordination: The emergency coordinator or the assistant will <br /> determine if onsite response personnel and equipment should be <br /> deployed during the emergency. <br /> 9 <br />
